Celebrating the best in interiors – from “luxe living to workspace wow” – the Australian Interior Design Awards recognise and celebrate interior design excellence through an annual awards evening. 

Now in its seventh year, the 2010 awards evening was held in Sydney on Friday 23rd April and was co-presented by the Design Institute of Australia (DIA), DesignEX and Artichoke magazine to recognise excellence in both residential and commercial interior design.

BVN Architecture was awarded the winning design for Goods Shed North, located in Melbourne.

The project demonstrates how significant ESD outcomes can be achieved through a creative interior design approach without being constrained by heritage considerations. The improved indoor environment quality makes a noteworthy contribution to worker health and wellbeing and to company productivity. A range of sustainable design initiatives have been efficiently integrated in an intelligent design that doesn’t compromise on workplace comfort or aesthetics and maximizes environmental performance.
