The fit-out project utilised a total of 50 Somfy Sonesse 40 WT motors - managed by 4 Somfy animeo KNX 4AC Motor Controllers – to motorise the Verosol high-performance metallised-backed screen roller blinds.

Somfy Commercial Expert Solis installed the Sonesse 40 WT motors, chosen for energy efficiency, smart automation, occupant comfort, and seamless building integration.

“Somfy’s KNX blind control system was used to seamlessly operate the roller blinds via the BMS or manual override,” said Scott Johnston, General Manager – Sales of Solis.

“The system effectively reduces heat and glare while maintaining clear outward visibility, allowing occupants to enjoy uninterrupted harbour views.”

The Somfy animeo KNX Blind Control System works to efficiently regulate and synchronise the building functions, ensuring optimal occupant comfort and energy efficiency.

The system is particularly advantageous, giving added control and visibility of the system. Motors can be addressed, monitored, and controlled individually, giving occupants the flexibility to customise their favourite blind position.
